周小白是穷困女导演,因常年在外漂泊而与父亲周强关系紧张。某次意外她穿越回父亲年轻时代,发现其性格截然不同，决心揭开父亲性格转变之谜。两人经历冒险后成为朋友,助父追爱,父助她实现导演梦。最终,周小白解开身世之谜，与父亲冰释前嫌,重拾父女情深。
